Craigslist is Awesome

About 16 hours before Max moved out, I posted some of his furniture on Craigslist as a last minute resort to get rid of some of the bulkier items he wanted to trash anyway. I snapped a few pictures on my iPhone and wrote a quick 1 line description.

A few hours later I only received 2 inquiries about the IKEA wardrobe I had listed for $75 and both were from girls without the physical strength or means to move the wardrobe. I was ready to give up until around 10pm when a girl was going to drive out from Downey to "check out" the wardrobe. We were going to be around all night packing and throwing stuff away so I figured why not. Turns out she bought it on the spot and even paid $80 for it -- a small tip for Max for the help in carrying it out.

Throughout the rest of the night I must have received 4-6 more inquiries and another 2-3 the next morning before I finally went in and deleted the listing. Lesson learned -- give Craigslist a good 24 hours to fully work.
