Actual string of e-mails I got from a bunch of developers at my company this morning:
"Working from home -- Staying close to home base today. Other than a couple of errands, I’ll be online and checking email throughout the day. If you have any urgent urgencies please call my cell @ xxx-xxx-xxxx. ~Gary"
"You can tell he didn’t get any sleep last night, are your fingers cramping Master Chief?"
"How long did you wait in line?"
"I spoke to Gary and Mason yesterday, but I am WFH today as well. I will be out of pocket from 10-12 but should be answering my e-mail sporadically throughout the day."
How much do you want to bet that all these guys are Halo'ing together right now. =P
Well, after work I've promised Steve to go with him to EB Games to pick up his pre-ordered copy of Halo 3. He -says- he wants me to play it with him but I gotta tell you, I've been practicing on Halo 2 and I can't even walk. I mean the whole dual-thumb thing... I walk into things, get stuck into corners, fall off of ledges... and it's so hard to tell the good aliens from the bad aliens. It's all one massive headache.
I should have prepared for this week a little better and arranged The O.C. Season 3 to arrive from NetFlix today.
