Today I went shopping with my mommy at wagging tail. There were so many dogs there! At first I was scared and but then I found they were friendly. The lady there even gave me some cookies! My mommy made me try on shoes and yuck! I hated them. She also made me try on some harnesses but they didn't fit-- Mommy says I have a big tummy.
Finally my mommy made me try on a denim jacket... it was kind of stiff and hard to walk in at first but it made my mommy so happy! I am wearing it right now with my new red bow.

Scarfing
What best to do on a rainy day? Stay dry, stay inside, and knit! I was recently inspired by kinsiekins' new scarf project. I loved the big chunky yarn so I had to find some for myself! Yes, I do realize that winter is almost over but once in a while I get into these yarn frenzies and I can't help but to start knitting again. I had about 3-5 unfinished scarf projects sitting in my close but I still couldn't resist. I forced myself to finish one of them for now before I bought new yarn though:
It is a homespun wool in a very light blush pink. I love the inconsistency of the color and thickness: some of it is a solid blush pink and the rest is a very dirty pale-pale pink. I finished the main scarf but I'm not done with it entirely. I wanted to either add another color to make it thicker or to embellish it with pale pink distressed ribbons a la Cecilia DeBucourt. Any suggestions?
Anyhow, turns out there is a cute little knit shop on Barrington Walk (near Sunset) that carries Rowan Biggy Print yarn. These are the colors I picked up:
I especially love the cream color on the bottom... it is actually a very pale yellow/cream mixed with a dull purply-grey. I've started on my first project today! I hear it's going to rain tomorrow... that means chilly weather... I hope I finish my scarf in time :)

Fritto Misto Italian Cafe 601 Colorado Ave., Santa Monica • 310-458-2829
I ate at Fritto Misto for the 3rd time this week... I am addicted to the pasta there! It is moderately priced too- you can't eat more than a plate of pasta. All of the pasta is fresh and you can have it pretty much any way you want it. My favorite: Fettucini Alfredo with Chicken. MmMmmMmm. Their fettucine has the perfect amount of softness in its texture... the cream is not overly creamy but has a punch of flavor.
I love it, I love it.
P.S. Notice how whenever Richard & I make a food discovery we tend to overdo it by going back day after day after day? Hehe.
Grrroooaaannnn....
Why do I eat so much? I get it in my head that I am not hungry and I will not eat like a maniac but as soon as I sit down (anywhere, home, restaurant, mom's house) I eat and eat and eat until I can't move. Then I remind myself that I will NOT overeat again because it is just too painful. And the next day I somehow forget it. Eating is like drinking alcohol... while you're eating everything is wonderful, you are enjoying yourself. It's AFTERWARDS that you feel like crap and you can't move and you tell yourself... I am never eating that much again. But the next time you go out, as soon as you start eating, you forget about the lesson you learned last time.
Today was Richard's birthday (Happy Birthday Richard!) and we took a bunch of our friends out to eat at Mastro's. Here is what I ingested:
4 pieces of Bread (2 sourdough rolls, 2 garlic breads, all smothered in butter)
1 crab cake (each order comes with 2)
4 raw oysters
1 stone crab claw
1 Bone-in Ribeye, 24oz (I ate about 2/3 so minus the bone that's about... 12 oz of meat?)
1 serving of creamed corn
1 serving of lobster/garlic mashed potatoes
Shoestring fries
80% of my creme brulee (My sis Joanna ate the other 20%, otherwise I would have finished it)
*phew*
All that in one sitting. Not to mention for lunch today I had Versaille's... I always walk out of Versaille's *stuffed*
My stomach hurts.
Okay this time I promise for reals, no more overeating.
