Today I am celebrating Moley's belated birthday. His birthday was on October 7 (Thanks a lot you guys for not calling him to say Happy Birthday) and he just turned 3 years old! Today is my first "day off" so I went to the doggie store to get him some goodies... 1) a carob dipped lollipop 2) a 12" chewstick and 3) some faux-greenies.
Then I went to the market to pick up the ingredients for his gourmet dinner! As I'm writing there is a turkey meatloaf in the oven baking away. It's a 2 layer meatloaf with a layer of spinach and cheese in the middle. Fancy! Also for dessert are some Hula cookies baked with honey and pineapples for a sweet treat. (Since he didn't get a cake this year)
Right now Moley and Lulu are both depressed. I've been cooking for the last hour saying things like "Moley! This is for you!" and "Yummy!! For you Moley!" and I bet he's thinking "Where the hell is this promised food?"
Just 30 more minutes Moley...
