I had an awfully uninteresting day at work today, so I won't bore myself trying to think back at all the details. Now that I have all of my entries in one place, I think I'll give a general update of what's going on. I was looking back at some of my old entries and they were all so long, so detailed. What was I thinking sharing all of that in public! So of course I edited most of it before I transferred it here ^.^

Anyhow I got a phone call from my Aunt Rosanna in Toronto. Yona & I are going to see her in August for her wedding in Hawaii! I've never been anywhere interesting in the United States so this should make up for it. I've never been to New York or Florida. I've only been to Kansas, Utah, and Nevada. Yecch. And does Nevada really count? So if that just leaves Kansas and Utah... those have got to be the most boring states out of all 50. Well, maybe Iowa. And Montana.

I want to take more trips. I want to go to San Francisco and go out to eat and walk around Union Square. I want to see Fisherman's Wharf and all the other tourist-y spots that I haven't seen since I was 5. I want to go to New York and walk the streets and shop sample sales and go to the Met. I want to go to Disney World and play in Miami and suntan.

But Hawaii will do for now. At least I'll get to swim with dolphins! I think ever since I saw my first dolphin at Sea World I wanted to swim with dolphins. I just hope it's in a closed-off pool and not in the ocean. I hate ocean water. And I don't want to risk being in the water with any other fish, yecch. I saw a fighting fish at the pet store the other day and it reminded me of my dead fish bones in my old fish tank. Ugh... and the poor skull of my sucker-fish. In case you've never heard, I had an evil gold fish that ate the other 4 fish in its tank. Evil. Flushed that evil-doer down the toilet. Well, actually it JUMPED out of the tank one day... I screamed my head off and my roommate came, swooped it up and threw it in the toilet.

I never ever want to have fish again. Own fish I mean, I will still eat fish. (Who can live without spicy tuna or marinated cod?) I love tanks though, I love pretty, colorful, fish tanks. When I grow old I will have a HUGE fish tank in my mansion, with all sorts of exotic coral and non-fish sea life. Maybe just one sucker fish to keep the glass clean.
Well I've finally finished moving over my Xanga blog & my Hi5 blog... so I'll keep it all in one place from now on. (yay!) Still looking around for cool features to add, so if you have any suggestions, please~

Meanwhile 2 James Patterson books just came in the mail for me, When the Wind Blows & Cat & Mouse... so that's why today's entry will be kept short =). (Besides, I had a long, boring day at work today... nothing anyone should have to hear about)

.. and one last thing... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GERRY! May the 21st year of your life bring you joys, delight, and laughter that you haven't yet experienced. (At least, not with the proper ID)

Testing, testing, 1 2 3...

I've decided to move all of my online-journaling to one spot. No more xanga, no more hi5. Bear with me a couple of days while I figure things out...
Today was a nice change of pace to my usual weekends-at-home. This morning Richard and I ran some errands for the office then had lunch at King & I on La Cienega. Then afterwards as we were walking to the car, I got a call from an old WHS buddy, Leila (whom I haven't seen in 6 years!) who asked "Are you standing on the sidewalk of La Cienega right now?" She saw me from her car... what a coincidence! It's been so long since we've seen each other, I was shocked that she recognized me!

Anyhow afterwards we went to Loehmann's then went pet shopping. We need to find a new crate for Moley since his is too small for him now. (See pic) We must have stopped by 3 pet stores but haven't found the perfect one yet.

So after that it was home to watch an episode of Law & Order: SVU. It's bad enough I got addicted to SVU, but now I'm on to Law & Order: CI and the OG Law & Order. Gosh with these crime dramas, serial killer on Days of Our Lives, and my James Patterson books... I'm not a very optimistic person anymore.

I ate dinner at Din Tai Fung tonight, yum! I must have eaten... definitely over 20 Juicy Pork dumplings. (Yes, they were before 8pm :P)

Okay... Richard's starting on an episode of CI (this is sad) so I'm off. Good night!
My first weekday home in a long time... waiting for the carpet cleaners to arrive. I was supposed to study, or at least do my Indonesian homework... but instead I've been here on the computer for 2 hours browsing friendster and hi5... how... boring.

Well I cooked lunch today, Korean Shrimp Fried Rice. Well, the only reason why I call it Korean is because it reminds me of this hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant in the boonies that had the BEST beef fried rice... it was a HUGE portion for under $5... when I lived in the UCLA dorms that $5 serving fed me, Sarah, AND Marcela. (my roommates) Talk about eating on a college budget :) Well anyways the fried rice was so good that I decided it was the highlight of my day and I will include a picture for you all to drool over. (Taken by my cell phone, so don't expect great quality)

I hate to admit this, but I think I've made a hobby out of finding new hobbies. This year alone I went through cooking, baking, knitting, video games, computer games, and who knows what else. Well now that I've upped my school load to 18 units/quarter, of course I get addicted to reading... (unfortunately not reading school material). I've recently just read pretty much all of James Patterson's books. Started with the Alex Cross series, etc. And GOODNESS who knew book shopping on eBay could be so much fun! I just bought more chick lit, Bergdorf Blondes and some other one, I forget the title.

Okay well I meant for this to be a quasi-entry since I'm just trying out the journal, and the carpet people have arrived so I'm off.

(Hmmm... I could get addicted to this journal writing thing again....)
